The device is a multifunctional 4 in 1: OTDR, Optical Power Meter (OPM), light source (OLS) and visible light (VFL). The device is designed for diagnosing FTTx networks, measures OTDR, has a visible light source for visual fault detection (VFL) and at the same time functions as a power meter or light source for direct attenuation measurement. Light, color TFT display, USB interface, PC analysis software, Li-ion battery power.

The OTDR is an ideal tool for testing and reporting common FTTx networks, specifically measuring distances, link attenuations and fault finding on optical lines. The device has a USB port for connection to a PC for archiving and analysis of measured data, and includes software for Windows. We recommend the device due to its dynamic range for measuring networks up to 15 km. It has the ability to measure with a very short pulse of 5ns and thus it is possible to measure even very short optical segments (100m) with a relevant result and the necessary accuracy (with a resolution of 0.5m)

The package does not include a pilot fiber (ensures the extension of the segment during measurement to eliminate the dead zone during measurement).
Order the upstream fiber/cable in the length and type of connectors as required.
